Art You Cannot Buy Anywhere Else

Sunday Morning is a fine art print studio. We publish original work by a small roster of artists you will not find on any other print site — not stock, not public-domain reprints, not AI-generated filler.

Right now that roster is three artists, and each one makes something genuinely different:

  • RUSHWON — pop-surrealist illustration built out of crowds. Recurring characters with names, every color in the box at once, held together by hard black line.
  • Even Your Friends Are Strangers — hours of fine pen portraiture, then a spray tag straight across the face. One color per piece, and a point of view about being looked at.
  • David Castillo Foster — collage cut from nineteenth-century engravings, torn book leaves and found photographs. Half the titles come from myth; the other half were already printed on the paper.

Alongside them we carry black-and-white photography, painterly work and graphic typography. More artists are coming, and we add them one at a time rather than all at once.

Every Print Is a Square

Every piece we publish is a 1:1 square, in three sizes: 12x12, 20x20 and 40x40.

That is a deliberate constraint, not a house style. Because the ratio never changes, any piece hangs with any other piece — you can buy one now, add three next year, and the wall still lines up. We call it the Infinite Grid, and it is the reason the catalog is built the way it is.

How the Prints Are Actually Made

Every print is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is mass-produced in advance.

  • 12-color archival giclée. A pigment ink system with a far wider color range than the four-color process used for posters, and dedicated gray inks that keep neutrals genuinely neutral.
  • 200gsm heavyweight matte paper. Acid-free, so it resists yellowing for over a century, and glare-free, so you can read fine detail from an angle instead of head-on.
  • Water-based, 100% UV-resistant inks, rated against fading for 100+ years even on a sunlit wall.
  • FSC-certified timber frames with shatterproof acrylic and the hanging hardware already fitted. Black or natural wood, or buy the print unframed.

Orders are produced at the fine art lab closest to your delivery address, which cuts transit time and the carbon cost of shipping art across an ocean.

What We Are Not

We think it is worth being direct about this.

These are original art prints — original designs by working artists, reproduced to archival standard. They are not limited editions, not numbered, and not hand-pulled by the artist. We do not manufacture scarcity, and nothing here will ever sell out to pressure you into buying today.

What you are paying for is the artwork, the artists getting a real cut of every sale, and a print built to outlast the room it hangs in.

Where We Ship

Sunday Morning ships across the United States and throughout Europe, with free shipping everywhere we deliver. No minimum, no surcharge at checkout.

Who We Are

Sunday Morning is an independent studio, not a marketplace and not a print-on-demand storefront reselling other people's catalogs. We choose the roster, we write every word on this site, and we set the print standard.

The work is modern, a little edgy, and occasionally rude. It is meant for people who would rather hang something they can defend at a dinner party than something that matches the sofa.
